  12. I read alot of discussion about various modems, pro and con, in this 
  13. group. I'm running an old 386-20SX, Windows 3.1, 4Meg, with a 9600bps 
  14. internal right now.  I know that this is an outdated rig but I plan on 
  15. upgrading to 486-50, 8 Meg soon.  I use Prodigy.

  17. Can anyone reccommend a 14.4 (better yet, a 28.8) modem that will give 
  18. good performance with a minimum of fuss on these older systems?
